Real Estate Marketing Ideas That Stand Out

Business Fatigue

Real estate marketing ideas that stand out are challenging to create. In the real estate world, your audience is constantly changing. That means that you need to keep your marketing efforts fresh and on point. To do this you will need to make sure you are keeping your creative thinking on track and always evolving your strategies for success.

The best remedy for marketing fatigue is to step away from the day-to-day management of your business and consider other areas of your marketing strategy. As coming up with new and exciting real estate marketing ideas become more difficult due to the number of tools and platforms available, new ideas need to be tested. It’s time to “up the game” on your primary marketing funnels. Change up your approach on your website, SEO, email marketing, paid advertising and social media content.

How is your marketing base?

The success of your real estate business is dependent on how well you market it.

Over half of all home buyers and over 99% of millennials go to the internet first when looking for properties for sale.

As a real estate professional, it is important that you have a web presence if you want to increase your bottom line. Your site should be professional in appearance and effective in providing value to your prospective clients.

Home buyers these days don’t just drive around the neighborhood they want to live in, pick a house and call the agent on the sign. Sometimes, I wish it were still that simple. Nowadays, they will find you and your listings on the internet via your website or social media.

Buyers want the best of what’s available in their neighborhoods. You should provide the best pictures, information, descriptions and even video tours of all the properties listed on your website. In addition, there is a host of other necessities to make sure you are the front runner:

  • Branded messaging, images and pages that relate to you and your specified sales area.
  • A design that is responsive. Did anyone say CTA?
  • IDX integration – can’t do without this, ever.
  • Blog content – short, sweet and to the point.
  • Landing pages – lead capturing and then nurture those prospects carefully.

Real Estate Marketing Ideas to “Up the Game”

 1. Home Evaluations for Sellers

If a prospect is considering selling a home, there are many reasons to check out the market. The easiest way to do so is to use an appraisal tool to estimate its value. These tools can be integrated into your website and help to get new leads for your real estate agency.

Once your visitor enters their address, they’re prompted to provide their email address and other information in order to view their home valuation report. After they provide this information, you can get in touch with them through your CRM and appropriate drip campaigns.

2. Complimentary moving truck

A moving truck is a valuable advertising asset for any real estate agent. If you don’t already own one, consider investing in a truck that’s branded with your company logo. You’ll get additional advertising and promotion each time you move a client within your area.

 3. Blog posting or video series providing the best restaurants or entertainment

The best homes have something to offer the buyers and the communities in which they live. That said, living in a community with plentiful food and entertainment options is an increasingly important factor as well.

4. Use Animals in Listing Photos

Don’t get crazy with this idea – some homeowners would rather not know that there was a Bull Mastiff or Great Dane running around the house that they are thinking of buying. However, just a cute kitty, little dog sitting in front of a fireplace or even chickens and goats outside on a ranch can make the property seem, well, lived in and an actual home.

The long and short of it…

Concentrate on providing ongoing ideas and helpful content to email subscribers. This will foster more referrals. It is important to be present for your readers. By offering tips that help them with their home search and advice that is relevant to them, this process will keep you “top of mind.” Using new fangled and unconventional real estate marketing ideas will help you stand out in the crowd. When they are ready to buy or sell – you’ll be the one they call.
